About The Dig

Pirates Dig a Well is one of Branson High School's humanitarian aid projects for the 2011-2012 school year. As a school and a community we will be raising $60,000 to build a Deep Bore Well, which means that A Glimmer of Hope will bring in their well digging machine that will dig deep down into the main watershed of Ethiopia. The water shed is absolutely clean and sanitary. With this well, not only will it save every day lives, but it will put a community's women and small children out of harms way. That means that children will have their mothers, and the community will be well off.  Thank you so much for being interested in our project.
